Meditate

“It is good for thee to dwell deep, that thou mayest
feel and understand the spirits of people.”
-John Woolman

It's time to hush. Breathe deep and look around. Release habits and see the forms and patterns of rooms and hills, of roadsides and paintings; take pleasure in their givenness.

Everything is going to be alright. I know this is true.

Rest.

  1. Welcome back. The cold weather sends me scurrying inside my house, and into myself as well. Hearts.

  2. During the summer, I wish Autumn and Winter wouldn't come. But when they do, I remember how I can enjoy every season. I love when some of the magazines I get do spreads of gardens in winter. It is an amazingly different perspective on what we normally think as something gone until Spring.

  3. Linda - It was kind of funny to go immediately from here to your post on anxiety. I GET anxiety, believe me.

Trisha - Thanks for the welcome, Trish. I love this weather.

Kate - Good point: things that are dormant are still alive, just different.
